JDG/KBG Conduit
JDG conduit full name is Sleeve Tightened Galvanized Steel Electrical Conduit, complying with standard CECS120:2007, widely used for electrical wiring protection in commercial buildings, data centers and fire-fighting weak current projects.
Material & Standard Specifications
Made of Q195/Q235 cold rolled steel strip, high-frequency welded and double-sided hot-dip galvanized inside & outside for anti-corrosion.
Standard wall thickness:
- Φ16: 1.2mm
- Φ20/25/32/40/50: 1.6mm
Standard length: 3m, 4m, 6m; custom cutting available.
Complete Fittings
Straight coupling, box connector, elbow, lock nut, set screw, bending spring, grounding clip.
Key Advantages
1. Easy & safe installation: No welding, no threading, no separate grounding jumper. Only tighten set screw with special wrench to lock tubes, no open flame on construction site.
2. Excellent fire resistance: Non-combustible metal material, prevents cable short circuit & flame spread, passes fire inspection.
3. Strong electromagnetic shielding: Blocks signal interference, stable for monitoring, network & intelligent wiring.
4. High mechanical strength: Anti-extrusion & impact resistant, not easy to deform when embedded in concrete.
5. Long service life: Uniform hot-dip galvanized layer, moisture & rust proof, service life over 50 years for indoor & damp basement.
6. Good tightness: Tight sleeve connection stops dust & moisture from entering to protect cables.
Application Scenarios
Indoor surface mounting, ceiling laying, wall/floor embedding; suitable for office buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, data rooms, high-rise residential buildings, fire alarm & intelligent weak current systems.
Not recommended for long-term outdoor exposure or heavy acid-alkali corrosive workshops (stainless steel conduit as alternative).
Difference between JDG / KBG / SC Conduit
1. JDG (Screw Tight Type): Thick wall, reliable conductive connection, no extra grounding, ideal for commercial & fire-fighting projects.
2. KBG (Crimp Type): Thin wall, poor continuity, only for simple household lighting, prohibited for fire systems.
3. SC Welded Conduit: Heavy thick wall, requires threading & welding grounding, used for civil air defense & underground buried pipelines with high cost.
