1. Product Overview
Stainless steel cable trays are fabricated from 201, 304, 316 and 316L stainless steel sheets through CNC bending, welding, passivation and wire drawing surface treatment. They are used for laying power cables, control wires and optical fibers in factories, chemical plants, coastal areas and clean workshops to support, protect and arrange wiring neatly.
Compared with galvanized cable trays, they feature superior resistance to corrosion, acid, alkali and salt spray. Their service life in harsh environments can exceed 20 years with minimal routine maintenance.
2. Common Materials & Application Scenarios
1. 201 Stainless Steel Cable Tray
Lowest cost with ordinary rust resistance. Only applicable to dry indoor environments such as ordinary office buildings and shopping malls; not suitable for coastal areas, chemical plants or humid locations.
2. 304 Stainless Steel Cable Tray
The mainstream general-purpose grade with good resistance to moisture and mild corrosion. Ideal for basements, food factories, general outdoor sites and conventional industrial workshops, offering the best cost-performance ratio.
3. 316 Stainless Steel Cable Tray
Contains molybdenum for greatly enhanced resistance to chloride ions and salt spray. Suitable for coastal docks, electroplating workshops and light sewage environments.
4. 316L Stainless Steel Cable Tray
Low-carbon grade free from intergranular corrosion after welding. Specially designed for heavily corrosive environments including strong acid & alkali workshops, seawater desalination plants, pharmaceutical factories and offshore wind power projects.
