Technological Breakthrough: Zhenzhong Electric Obtains Patent for Expandable Modular Cable Tray

In February 2026, Anhui Zhenzhong Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. was officially granted a utility model patent for Multi-section Combined Expandable Cable Tray (Patent No. CN223942309U) by the China National Intellectual Property Administration, marking a core technical breakthrough in modular and lightweight wiring accessories for Zhenzhong cable trays.

Conventional cable trays feature fixed widths with poor on-site adaptability. For irregular pipelines and multi-circuit wiring projects, massive cutting and reconstruction are required, resulting in low construction efficiency and high material waste. Targeting this industry pain point, Zhenzhong’s R&D team developed an innovative segmented splicing structure. The modular tray body allows free width adjustment according to cable quantity without on-site cutting, drastically cutting material loss and simplifying assembly of elbows, tees and support brackets.

Mass production of the patented cable tray is supported by Zhenzhong’s 15,000㎡ fully automatic manufacturing base in Hefei. As one of the few integrated manufacturers in Central China capable of full in-house production of cable trays, bus ducts and switchgear, Zhenzhong delivers standard cable tray orders within 3–7 days. Custom surface treatments including hot-dip galvanizing, fire-proof powder coating and stainless steel anti-corrosion finish are available for harsh environments such as photovoltaic plants, chemical workshops and underground pipe galleries.

By 2026, Zhenzhong cable trays have been deployed in over 1,000 national projects across commercial real estate, new energy, hospitals, schools and transportation hubs. The newly authorized patent will further boost product competitiveness and offer a brand-new technical solution to reduce costs and improve efficiency for the electrical construction industry.
