1. Product Overview

FRP Cable Tray (Full name Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic / GRP Cable Tray) is a non-metallic cable support system pultruded as one piece. It uses alkali-free fiberglass as reinforcement, compounded with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester or epoxy resin, plus flame retardant and UV stabilizer additives. It is an ideal substitute for steel and aluminum trays, featuring outstanding corrosion resistance, electrical insulation and lightweight flame retardant performance, specially designed for chemical, coastal, sewage, explosion-proof and other harsh corrosive environments.

2. Resin Material Grades by Corrosion Resistance

1. General Polyester FRP Tray
Cost-effective basic grade, resistant to weak acid, alkali and humidity, for ordinary factories, underground parking lots and mild coastal areas.
2. Vinyl Ester FRP Tray
High anti-corrosion grade, withstands strong acid, alkali, chloride ion and seawater salt spray, widely used in electroplating, pharmaceutical, sewage treatment and offshore projects.
3. Flame Retardant & Anti-Static FRP Tray
FV0 flame retardant rating, no spark risk, suitable for gas stations, mines, oil & gas and dust explosion-proof workshops.
4. UV Resistant Weatherproof FRP Tray
Rich resin surface with UV absorber, no chalking or cracking under long-term outdoor sunlight exposure, for photovoltaic power stations and open-air utility tunnels.

Open rung structure with optimal ventilation & heat dissipation, ultra-lightweight for large-section high-voltage power cables and long-distance overhead installation in high-temperature workshops.
3. FRP Perforated Tray Cable Tray
Semi-closed base with uniform heat dissipation holes, balancing load bearing and heat dissipation, general use for power cable routing in industrial plants.
4. FRP Long Span Cable Tray
Thickened profile with built-in reinforcing ribs, single unsupported span up to 2–4m, reducing support quantity for large factories and municipal utility tunnels.

4. Core Product Advantages

Non-metallic material eliminates electrochemical corrosion, resistant to pH 2–12 acid, alkali, salt spray and industrial waste gas. Service life is 3–5 times longer than 304 stainless steel in chloride-rich environments, no regular rust removal or repainting required.

Only 1/4 weight of carbon steel tray of same size, easy manual lifting; support spacing can extend to 2–3m to save bracket material and labor cost.

Insulation resistance ≥10¹²Ω, no eddy current heating, no signal interference for control cables; no spark hazard for explosion zones, grounding jumper is unnecessary.
